Light

This project explored the relationship between light and space. Through a series of study models, I was able to test the functions of light as the projection of shadow versus the projection of light.  In furthering the light box, the projection of light through and around materials became most interesting. The final iteration of the light box was based on the concept of enclosing the light source with numerous slabs and allowing the light to slip though different places of the box. On the different elevations of the box, the number of slabs in the foreground changes so that in some areas the box is allows you to see to the background whereas in other perspectives the box seems solid.
